Important!

Let’s talk about why tracking Best Before Dates (BBEs) and batch numbers is essential.

  • Best Before Dates

You’ll see these labelled as BBE dates on the packaging of all Refilld products.

BBE stands for “Best Before End”, which indicates the date until the product maintains its peak quality and effectiveness.

  • Batch Numbers

You’ll find batch numbers labelled B/N on the packaging of all Refilld products.

A batch number is a unique code assigned to each production batch. It helps track the specific batch of a product for quality control, ensuring traceability from production to customer.

Best Practices for Tracing BBE and Batch Numbers

  1. 1
    Always Refill an Empty Bottle
Always use up the vitamins from your bottle before refilling to avoid mixing different batches.
  2. 2
    Check Before Refilling
Always check the BBE and batch number on your new refill pouch before transferring the contents into your glass bottle.
  3. 3
    Record the Information
Keep a simple record of the BBE and batch number in a notebook, phone, or tracking app.
  4. 4
    Label Your Bottle
Write down the new BBE and batch number on a label and attach it to your bottle.
  5. 5
    Use the Oldest Batch First
Use the one with the nearest BBE first to ensure maximum freshness.
  6. 6
    Regularly Check Your Records
Review your notes to ensure you're using products before the BBE date.

Following these simple steps ensures you maintain optimal quality, freshness, and traceability with every refill.
